Crafted with a chambered mahogany body and maple top, these guitars are lightweight, resonant, and perfectly balanced. A 3-piece carbon-reinforced mahogany neck with a satin finish provides smooth playability and long-term stability, and stainless steel jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard ensure lasting durability and precision.

Both models include Yamaha’s unique 5-way switching system, which unlocks additional tonal options including out-of-phase voicings in positions 2 and 4. The signature Focus Switch—a passive push/pull boost on the tone knob—tightens up the low and midrange frequencies while rolling off highs, delivering a fatter, more aggressive sound without needing active electronics.

• RSS02T: Featuring dual VP5 P‑90 pickups, the RSS02T offers a brighter, rawer tone with pronounced mids and a snappy attack—ideal for funk, indie, blues, and vintage rock. It sports a retro-inspired trapeze tailpiece, adding to its unique visual and tonal vibe.
