House of Blues and producers of The Rock House Method join together to bring you this unique and comprehensive guitar course! With this course designed by world-renowned guitarist John McCarthy, you will develop a solid foundation for playing acoustic, electric and Blues guitar by learning beginner through advanced techniques. You start with basic chords, scales and proper technique training! You’ll then graduate to strumming as you learn rhythm guitar, learn lead guitar with bending, hammer-ons and pull-offs and learn complete songs and leads. Finally, you’ll move onto full form chords and scales, triplet lead patterns, the shuffle feel and swing effect, challenging blues riffs, turnarounds and much more! John will encourage you to cultivate your own style by emphasizing the techniques and components needed to develop creativity.
