The Gliga I violin is a beautiful instrument suited to the advancing student. Superior to the Gliga II model, the Gliga I features higher grade timbers to ensure the tone will mature. Gliga violins are handmade in Romania from Carpathian spruce top, European maple back, ribs and neck, Ebony fittings, and finished with German oil varnish. All our Gliga violins are professionally setup with a Wittner Ultralight Tailpiece and Violino Strings for the best value and sound out of your violin. Supplied in quality oblong case (with backpack straps) and Articul carbonfibre horsehair bow.

Gliga I Series Violin Outfit

Made for the more advanced student this model incorporates some lovely book-matched flamed maple on the back with matching maple on the ribs (sides). The Gliga I enjoys the use of fine straight-grained aged spruce with is carefully graduated (variable thickness internal carving) to best tune the plates (back and belly) to provide a rich, well-rounded sound audible to the discerning ear.

As standard the Gliga I is fitted with German-made Pirastro Violino strings and incorporates a German-made Wittner Ultra light-weight tailpiece with incremental fine adjustment.

Supplied in quality oblong case (with backpack straps) and Articul carbonfibre horsehair bow.
