The Casio CDP-S160 is a compact, lightweight and portable digital piano with a Scaled Hammer Action. You can play wherever you like as it is can be run from either AC power or batteries. The unit features 10 essential tones, including grand pianos and electric pianos that are waiting to be discovered and played. The subtle changes in response to the velocity and time on the piano tones have become even more natural, broadening your range of expression.

This unit allows you to add a 3 pedal unit (SP34).

TOUCH
The CDP-S series is perfect for a wide range of musical genres. The Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard Ⅱ, which is an action mechanism with hammer weighting the same as a grand piano, housed in a compact body, allows for a great balance of slim size and responsive touch. The fine-grained finish on the key surface prevents slippage caused by perspiration, and the keys feel comfortable to the fingertips even during long sessions.

COMPATIBILITY WITH THREE-PEDAL UNIT
The CDPS160 is compatible with the fixed three-pedal stand CS-470P and the three-pedal unit SP-34 (both sold separately) , suitable for both piano practice and performance. The damper pedal can be depressed lightly to produce a half-dampened sound.

CLEARLY FUNCTIONED LABELS
The function notations above the keys make it easy to see which keys to press to change settings such as tones and tempo.

DUET MODE
In duet mode, the left and right halves of the keyboard are set to the same tonal range. Great for two players, such as a parent and child or a teacher and student, to practice together.

MIDI Recorder
The MIDI recorder feature enables performances to be recorded to the piano’s internal memory and played back – helpful during lessons or just for fun.
