Electronic Keyboards come in many shapes and forms. The term “Electronic Keyboard” describes musical instruments from a Digital Piano Keyboard, to Physical Modelling Synthesizers. As such it is important to be clear about what it is you what from such an instrument.

For example, a Home Keyboard such as a Yamaha PSR Arranger keyboard, has built in speakers. It also has hundreds of production sounds, sequenced to create musical arrangements.
